I am a native German with a strong business background and a passion for traveling. Though I grew up in Germany, I have also spent almost five years in the United States (the first time as an exchange student at age 16). Therefore, I speak English as well as my native language.

After I graduated from the University of Munich with a degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Intercultural Communication) in 1997, I started my career as an auditor with a Big Four Accounting Firm (Munich, Germany, and Los Angeles, USA). My clients included both mid-sized companies and Fortune 200 corporations. I audited clients from a wide variety of industries: from meatpacking plants to a church. However, a majority of my clients were in the automotive, finance or consumer goods industries.

One of my main interests is traveling. Over the years I have traveled extensively in the United States (28 states so far) and have also visited Mexico, Austria, Italy, Malta, Spain, Tunisia, Egypt, Belgium and Great Britain. My experiences have ranged from a dude ranch to Walt Disney World to a UK hiking holiday. As a result, I am well-acquainted with tourism terminology and your travel-related texts are in good hands.
